Thyme

What am I?:                       I am an herb and a part of the mint family.

When do I

grow best?:                        I grow from spring through late fall, and I will come back the next year.


 

What vitamins and

minerals do I have?:         I contain vitamin C, iron, manganese, fiber, and copper.

 

How do you eat me?:       Add to a fruit salad, pasta sauce, roasted vegetables, or scrambled eggs.


Fun Fact!:                          Thyme has long been a symbol of courage. Soldiers from the Middle Ages were known to bring thyme into battle!
